Learning Through Global Exposure

A Life of Travel
My first international journey began at just six months old, when I boarded a plane for the first time. Since then, travel has been a constant part of my life. With the exception of the pandemic years, I have been to Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, England, Switzerland, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
The U.S. itself has been a world of discovery — I have spent time in major cities including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and across Connecticut and Illinois.
Each destination offered a new perspective: the history of Europe’s cities, the cultural richness of Egypt, the dynamism of Dubai, and the creativity and innovation of America’s metropolises. Experiencing different cultures, people, and places has been more than sightseeing; it has been a way of understanding the world and my place in it.
Growing Independence
As I grew older, travel became more than family trips. Since 2023, I have been taking my own journeys to summer schools, from booking tickets to navigating new environments. I traveled independently to Dartmouth and Yale, in 2024, and later to Stanford in 2025, where I managed the logistics of living and studying for two months. These experiences gave me confidence, self-reliance, and the understanding that independence is built one decision at a time. Travel has taught me that global exposure is not just about distance crossed but about character built.
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.
