A Story of Growth and Heritage

I was born on February 7, 2008, in Istanbul. Growing up, I was fortunate to always have access to the food, toys, and clothes I wanted. My parents still laugh at how, at the age of five, I confidently told them that I had personal rights guaranteed by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child — and that they needed to respect them.
I began kindergarten at 2.5 years old, and in every school I attended the language of instruction was English. Until the end of secondary school, I studied at Doğa Schools, which offered a unique and nature-centered approach to learning.
Like every Turkish student, I sat for the High School Placement Exam, ranked in the top 0.01%, and enrolled at Koç High School, one of Turkey’s most prestigious schools. However, the long commute consumed much of my time, leaving little room for personal growth. Eventually, at 10th grade, I transferred to Hisar School, where I had also qualified. Being within walking distance of home gave me the chance to engage in opportunities I had previously missed and to devote more time to my personal interests.
Both of my parents are entrepreneurs. Under the KREA brand, my mother - Seda Mızraklı Ferik, has led KREA MICE, the top event organization company in Turkey for many years, and now organizes global events such as the Global HR Summit, Global Marketing Summit, Global Leaders Summit, and the prestigious Golden Leaders Awards. My father - Aycan Ferik, runs KREA.Digital, which powers these events with cutting-edge technology, hybrid platforms hosting tens of thousands of online participants, and in-person gatherings of more than 5,000 people. KREA.Digital is also one of Turkey’s leading digital marketing firms, creating powerful synergies to amplify our brands.
As a family, we share a passion for creativity. We regularly attend global events like the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. In 2024, I was one of only two high school students to attend with a full badge — like my sister - Su Ferik in 2023, who is currently a sophomore at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
This is the heritage I am proud to inherit — and eager to carry forward.
There is always a better way.
